Are my photos uploaded?
The initial version processes photos on the device as far as possible. If cloud recognition is added, only users who explicitly turn it on in Settings will use it.
The recognition result is wrong
Choose a different object name from the suggestions, or mark the area by hand and recognise it again. For difficult photos, shoot in a bright place with the object in the centre.
Pronunciation does not play
Check your iPhone volume, silent mode, Bluetooth output and whether Apple’s system voices are available.
The camera does not work
Turn on camera access for PictoTango in the iOS Settings app. The Simulator cannot reproduce the behaviour of a real device camera.
Deleting saved data
Use the delete option in the app, or uninstall the app, to remove the word cards and photo data stored on the device.
No audio on this website
Audio on this website uses your browser’s speech synthesis. If your device has no voice for a language, that language cannot be read aloud. This does not affect pronunciation in the app.
